Maya Luxe is a luxury villa rental company founded in 2007, offering exceptional private homes for rent across the Riviera Maya. It was born when co-founders Stephanie Farr and Barbara Castillo spotted a need for on-site support and marketing for the amazing private rental homes in the area, coupled with personalized concierge services. Barbara Castillo left Maya Luxe in year and partner Darren Rushin came on board in 2016, bringing with him years of business acumen and an intimate knowledge of international luxury travel.

There, we got the basics out of the way. What MayaLuxe is really about is much harder to describe, however, and must be lived. In short, we believe that your villa isn’t just a place to stay but a gateway to the experiences that turn some vacations into the ones you tell your friends about for years.

What makes Maya Luxe different is our lived knowledge of the Riviera Maya, and our team’s commitment to delve deep to find the best properties and most memorable experiences in order to create truly incredible vacations for our guests. It’s not just about the gorgeous homes (though they are all very ‘gram-worthy) — our end-to-end service also takes care of the details, so you can plan less, dream more, and truly follow your passion.

The Maya Luxe experience is an expression of our love for travel, and for the region. We can’t wait to show guests what makes the Riviera Maya so special.
