Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Steph has always had a relentless passion for travel and an ongoing commitment to explore and immerse in new cultures around the world.

In 2004, she entered the luxury villa rental business, consulting for homeowners based around the globe on how to build rental programs for their vacation homes. She had started a promising career in an industry that was still very much in its infancy, but 5 years later, she decided to take a break and travel the world. She put her whole life in a backpack and set out on a journey that would allow her to discover extraordinary places and meet fascinating people from all over the planet.

After traveling for a year and a half, Steph finished her pilgrimage in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. She immediately fell in love with this paradise and decided to start her own company. Thus Maya Luxe was born, a luxury villa rental company focusing on high-end concierge services and off-the-beaten-path experiences.

Over the past 10 years, Maya Luxe has grown to become the largest luxury villa rental company in the area. Today, it continues to expand through innovation, passion, and love for the industry. Most importantly, it has strengthened its commitment to deliver unforgettable moments, stories, and connections for all its guests.

A visionary dedicated to making a positive impact on this planet, Steph has now charted a new path for Maya Luxe guided by two basic principles: sustainability and community. Her deep love for the place that she has called home for the past decade has driven her to build RISE, Maya Luxe’s social initiative focused on saving the ocean and giving back to the local Maya communities.

In addition to her social and environmental endeavor, Steph continues to coach and consult for villa owners, property investors, and developers in many parts of the world who are looking to optimize or build lucrative rental homes with a promising ROI.
